Tissue is obtained from the roof of the mouth and transferred to the exposed root. A band-aid is placed over both the roof of the mouth and root of the tooth to expedite healing and increase patient comfort.

How long is the recovery process?With no drilling or pain medications that can make you feel low on energy, you'll be feeling normal after your session is complete.

How is dental ozone delivered in patient care?The primary forms of ozone applications that we use are ozonated water and pure oxygen/ ozone gas.

Is ozone toxic?When used properly, the strong oxidant is not harmful to normal healthy cells. As far as any potential side effects, they do rarely happen but it is something to be mindful about - such as burning eyes, coughing, nausea, lightheadedness, and a possible headache.
