Your Wellness Journey

The impressions and digital scans are sent to our trusted laboratory partners, which usually makes and returns to our office in two to three weeks.

6

At your second follow up visit, Dr. Emilyann Pham and Dr. Ann Shui will remove your temporary crown after the fit and color of the permanent crown is checked. If all is well, your new crown is cemented in place.

A temporary crown is made to cover and protect the prepared tooth while you’re waiting for your permanent crown.

1

During your first visit, Dr. Emilyann Pham and Dr. Ann Shui will examine and prepare the tooth that’s going to receive the crown. X-rays are taken of the tooth and also the areas around it.

2

The tooth that’s receiving the crown is filed down across the top and sides to make space for the crown itself.

3

After reshaping the tooth, an impression and digital scan of the tooth that’s receiving the crown is created to ensure that the crown will not affect your bite.

Protects a weak tooth from breaking or keep the weak tooth together if parts of it are cracked.

Durable teeth

1

Crowns are more durable than filings, inlays and onlays making it a long lasting option.

Best protection

2

Correct many imperfections in teeth by covering up crooked, chipped and discolored teeth.

What’s not to Adore about Adore Dentistry? Located in the Heights, in the newly developed area of 19th Street, this place has the charm and personality to make this your new home for all your dental needs!
I was referred by a friend to come see what all the fuss was about! I haven’t been to a dentist in years and was kind of nervous of what to expect.
Walking in, the front desk greeted me an energy of an old friend reacquainting. The staff was so kind and interactive and answering all my questions I had for a first time visit. The sitting area was well lit and the walls were lined with paintings from local artist! How cool is that? I knew right away this wasn’t your typical “dental visit”!
I quickly filled out all my information on an iPad that they hand you. It was pretty easy and convenient.
I was offered refreshments while I wait and they also had a snack stand in case you forgot to eat on your appointment!
They called me to do X-rays and let me tell you, the equipment is state of the art! The technician was very professional and walked me step by step through each process. She was certainly thorough!
They take their time and it didn’t feel rushed as some other places I’ve been to. It felt like a very personalized experience for me. Which is always a plus! It didn’t have that doctor office feel, but a very nice warm and cozy ambiance!
After X-rays, I was seated in a different room where there was a TV in the ceiling! What? A TV?! They asked me what I wanted to watch and attended to all my needs and request. I asked a iPhone charger and they provided me one.
Needless to say, when the dentist came in. She introduced herself and explained what she was going to do. After a quick check up she proceeded to clean my teeth. She did a wonderful job of making the whole experience comfortable and exuberated professionalism with each step going on. What an awesome first time experience! No cavities is also another plus!
All in all, I had a wonderful experience and now call Adore Dentistry my new home! I also took advantage of their first time client deal!
