I had a great experience here! Everyone at this office is clearly passionate about making sure you have a good experience and feel comfortable. My dentist took the time to explain her findings to me while showing the photos and x-rays on the screen. I’m grateful the ladies at Adore made my new dentist transition so easy!

Biological

Endodontics

An integrative and biological approach to root canals.

  • Who is a good candidate for dental ozone therapy?
These sessions will benefit anyone dealing with gum disease, infected teeth, tooth decay, cavities, or interested in using ozone for preventative care. If you think you are a good candidate for dental ozone therapy and feel deeply aligned about becoming a member of our holistic health and wellness community, please contact Adore to schedule an appointment :)
  • Is ozone treatment painful?
Not one bit as it is a natural non-invasive method that does not involve drills, fillings or injections.
  • What are good resources on dental ozone?
    - The Use of Ozone in Medicine by Renate Viebahn - Ozone Therapy by Dr. Frank Shallenberger MD - Information thorugh the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine
  • How long is the recovery process?
With no drilling or pain medications that can make you feel low on energy, you'll be feeling normal after your session is complete.
  • How is dental ozone delivered in patient care?
The primary forms of ozone applications that we use are ozonated water and pure oxygen/ ozone gas.
  • Is ozone toxic?
When used properly, the strong oxidant is not harmful to normal healthy cells. As far as any potential side effects, they do rarely happen but it is something to be mindful about - such as burning eyes, coughing, nausea, lightheadedness, and a possible headache.

After the final visit with your biological endodontist, you must return to your dentist to have a crown or other restoration placed on the tooth to protect and restore it to full function.

3

After the space is cleaned and shaped, the endodontist fills the root canals with a biocompatible material ensuring a complete sealing of the root canal.

2

The biological endodontists make an opening in the crown of the tooth by using laser which is used to clean the pulp from the pulp chamber and root canals and to shape the space for filling. Once the area is free of debris, ozone water and other agents are used to kill any remaining bacteria so re-infection doesn't occur.

1

This treatment can often be performed in one or two visits with our referral biological endodontists.

The biological endodontists examine and x-rays the tooth, then administer local anesthetic. After the tooth is numb, the endodontist places a small protective sheet called a “dental dam” over the area to isolate the tooth and keep it clean and free of saliva during the procedure root canal access opening.

Your Wellness Journey

Our process consists of a collaboration with certified biological endodontists or an exploration of root canal alternatives

Our biological endodontists use the practice of biocompatible materials and modern dentistry in collaboration with other integrative and functional medical doctors to optimize patients’ wellness.

Save teeth the holistic way

1

Laser root canals provide far better decontamination in a regenerative and biological way without any drilling vibrations and eliminating infections that can cause greater health issues.

Laser therapy with no pain

2

If saving a tooth isn't a healthy option, we can explore other options such as consciously extracting dead teeth with ozone therapy and restored with ceramic zirconia implants.
