A non-surgical, comprehensive, and non-invasive approach to restore functional breathing

  • Who is a good candidate for dental ozone therapy?
These sessions will benefit anyone dealing with gum disease, infected teeth, tooth decay, cavities, or interested in using ozone for preventative care. If you think you are a good candidate for dental ozone therapy and feel deeply aligned about becoming a member of our holistic health and wellness community, please contact Adore to schedule an appointment :)
  • Is ozone treatment painful?
Not one bit as it is a natural non-invasive method that does not involve drills, fillings or injections.
  • What are good resources on dental ozone?
    - The Use of Ozone in Medicine by Renate Viebahn - Ozone Therapy by Dr. Frank Shallenberger MD - Information thorugh the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine
  • How long is the recovery process?
With no drilling or pain medications that can make you feel low on energy, you'll be feeling normal after your session is complete.
  • How is dental ozone delivered in patient care?
The primary forms of ozone applications that we use are ozonated water and pure oxygen/ ozone gas.
  • Is ozone toxic?
When used properly, the strong oxidant is not harmful to normal healthy cells. As far as any potential side effects, they do rarely happen but it is something to be mindful about - such as burning eyes, coughing, nausea, lightheadedness, and a possible headache.

1

Dr. Emilyann Pham and Dr. Ann Shui will provide a thorough dental evaluation of your airway, analysis of your posture, review of any symptoms you might be having, and evaluation of your health history.

2

If an airway insufficiency is suspected, Dr. Emilyann Pham and Dr. Ann Shui will provide you an at-home sleep study through Sleep Test, as well as receiving a sleep study device to wear for two nights. The device will collect data on your breathing and sleeping patterns. Once you return the device, a board-certified sleep doctor will analyze your data and will share the findings of your sleep study.

3

Our dental team will take high-resolution photos of your mouth and face and will use advanced 3D scanning technology to map and measure your craniofacial structures. Dr. Emilyann Pham and Dr. Ann Shui then partner with an integrative team to diagnose the root cause of disordered breathing, and to put together a unique and personalized plan to treat your airway issues.

4

We'll determine which oral appliance is best for you, Vivos or Thrive Appliance, and will then share your diagnostic results and treatment plan with a specialized lab to create your custom appliance.

Your Wellness Journey

5

You will receive your custom oral appliance which is essentially invisible, equipped with springs so you can adjust at home, providing a comfortable wearing experience. To conclude this visit, Dr. Emilyann Pham and Dr. Ann Shui will strategically guide you on how to and how often to adjust your dental device.

6

You will meet with the dental team every 4-6 weeks throughout your treatment plan so the dentists could help measure your expansion progress, keep track with improvement of symptoms, in addition to creating space for you to address any concerns or questions.

Very satisfied with this dental office. Doctors are very knowledgeable, they take ample time to explain everything you need to know with pictures and take a holistic approach to assess your situation. Elegant office, super clean, courteous staff and in my opinion, the way it should be in an ideal world!
